1. EuroSafe
EuroSafe is a European umbrella organisation of institutions and individuals that are working on policies and actions for consumer safety, safety of vulnerable such as children and older people, safety in sports and leisure, as well as in the prevention of violence and self-harm.
Members of EuroSafe represent health and safety agencies, research bodies, private sector organisations and civil society organisations, i.e. those who can effectively influence public policies and implement programmes and infrastructures with regard to safety in daily life.
2. World Health Organization
WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends.

3. Centre for Public Health
The Centre for Public Health, based at Liverpool John Moore’s University, is a vibrant research community working in partnership to deliver health at local, regional, national and international levels. We specialise in applied research and capacity building programmes addressing health issues at all levels from policy development to service delivery. We provide national expertise and lead public health intelligence and research on alcohol, dental health, substance misuse and violence with a firm commitment to a multi-disciplinary approach to Public Health.

4. Department of Health and Home Office
Violence can take many forms. Incidents can range from knife crime on our streets, to the threat or actual violence and/or abuse against women and children in the home, or as the result of harmful traditional practices or forced marriages. Each can have devastating consequences for long-term mental and physical health.
Visiting the stand will give delegatesan opportunity to read about and discuss some of the initiatives led by the Department of Health, the Home Office and the Forced Marriage Unit.

9. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Injury Center
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (Injury Center) was established in 1992 to lead injury and violence prevention efforts. The field of injury and violence prevention is relatively young when compared to other areas of public health, but the burden of injury and violence coupled with the enormous cost of these problems to society make them a pressing health concern.
