Personal submission e.g. How would attendance at the safety 2010 conference help you to improve the prevention of injury and the promotion of safety in your locality?	Being a physician, lecturer and a researcher in a medical school in the field of emergency medicine, I am hoping the conference will enlighten me further the area of injury prevention especially the road traffic injury aspect. The road related injury is an increasing worrying problem in Malaysia especially for the motorcyclists. Being the emergency physician, I see many such terrible and disturbing injuries among young age, school children and productive age group of people. Recently the higher authority of the university hospital had asked me to start a cluster research project in road traffic injury prevention and being new in the field, I hope by attending this conference, it will give me the platinum opportunity to learn and seek help and guidance from the expert to achieve the goal of reducing injuries in my country. Certainly we need the expert help and networking in making this injury prevention plan successful. Finally I am hoping by attending the conference, I will learn on how to establish a good injury preventive program, how to do effective research in the field, how to expand and promote the program in my country, how to achieve collaboration in the program and most important how to make other people realize the importance of having injury preventive program in Malaysia.
