Personal submission e.g. How would attendance at the safety 2010 conference help you to improve the prevention of injury and the promotion of safety in your locality?	My attendance to the Safety 2010 Conference will definitely help me in improving the injury prevention and the safety promotion in my local community thru: 1. I was once a survivor of Violence Against Women (VAW), therefore, as a staring point and equipped from the acquired knowledge, learnings and insights from the Conference, I will continue to share confidently my personal experience as a victim and as a survivor with other or new friends, colleagues in this subject area on my ordeals, how I did survive and the lessons from that experience so that occurrence of injuries (physical and emotional) are prevented. 2. From the Conference, I can gain additional skills and the right attitude as a Resource Person or as a Speaker in facilitating or conducting seminars, workshops in order to re-echo on the interventions of injury prevention and the awareness on safety promotion with the students and parents in the school, leaders in the local village, members from various organizations, clients and their relatives in my work and officers of NGOs. In my humble capacity as a Social Worker, I will impart to them what I had learned from the experiences of the delegates from different countries. 3. I can adopt and apply a best-practice in the prevention of injury and in the promotion of safety from the Conference suited or depending on the settings of our local people and our existing community-based structures. Thank you very much for this very rare chance to learn from the Conference.
