Burns drowning and falls are leading causes of mild
and moderate injury in the home and elsewhere.
Burns is an injury to the tissue by excess heat or
cold,the world health organisation classified burns
as exposure to smoke,fire and flames;contact to heat
and hot substance and exposure to eletric current.
  In developing countries classification of burns are
as follows sudden blast of heat from cooking stove,ig
nition of highly inflammable materials ie gasoline or
kerosene,uncontrolled fire in a building such as housefire,smoking in bed,epilepsy and alcoholism,fe
male both adults and children are at high risk of burns because of domestic activities.
  Drowning by immersion is by far the most important
of the unintentional water related facilities it is
rank 2nd to traffic injury as a cause of fatality amo
ng males,drowning happen to people who are in water f
or the following reasons bathing,washing,swimming,
epilepsy,alcohol abuse,leaving toddler alone or with
another child or adult.Rate is higher in developing
countries and indigenous communities especially in 
rural location than in developed countries.Toddlers
and older people are at higher risk,males of all ages
are affected than females.
   Falls are a common causes of severe injuries and
hospitalization leaving permanent disabilities and
minor injuries it can also lead to death.
   Burns,drowning and falls should be eradicated in 
our society with us being more careful in our daily
living and activities.
